Seth Hirsh

Hi! I am a PhD candidate in Physics at the University of Washington in Seattle co-advised by Nathan Kutz in Applied Math and Bing Brunton in Biology. My research focuses on the intersection of applied mathematics and machine learning, developing data driven methods for high dimensional time-series datasets, with a variety of applications including fluid mechanics, neuroscience, and computer vision.

My research spans a variety of domains and my interests include machine learning, computer vision, tensor decompositions, forecasting, and time-series analysis!
